放射線療法
 放射線療法とは、手術で切除が困難または不可能なときに使われる療法です。放射線が発するエネルギーでがん細胞を攻撃します。放射線には加速器を使ったエックス線やコバルト６０のガンマ線を使用します。放射線は細胞のDNAに直接作用するため増殖する能力をなくしてり、細胞を殺すこともできます。なぜか気休めにやる治療だと思われていますが、実際いには効果のある治療法です。
