ウィルスの進化
 生命の進化の原因はウィルスの流行によって遺伝子の変異が起きたのではと考えられています。ウィルスにはDAN型とRNA型が両方存在していることからこの説があります。例えばキリンは首の長くなる病気が流行したことによりキリンという動物に進化したと考えられています。ウィルスの感染により遺伝子が書き換えられることはRNAウィルスで実際に可能だと実証されています。
