ゲノム創薬
 ゲノム創薬とは、ゲノムデータを遺伝子レベルで利用し、病気の原因を調べて新薬を効率的に開発する薬のことです。ゲノムとは生物の全遺伝情報が集まったもので人間の場合は約３０億個の塩基配列によって構成されています。従来の医薬開発は偶然や経験に頼りながら医薬品として使える物質を探し出すという方法でした。
