新日韓漁業協定
 新日韓漁業協定とは、国連海洋法条約の内容を踏まえて作られた新しい漁業協定のことです。旧新日韓漁業協定では、１２海里までを国の領域として共同資源調査水域や共同規則水域を設定等の内容でした。日本の水域内は２００海里ですが、旗国主義の取り締まり権限を有していたことで１２海里以遠の水域は勧告の漁業水域に対し日本の規制は適用できないという問題がありました。
