新日中漁業協定
 新日中漁業協定とは、１９９７年の１１月に調印されて１９９８年の４月３０日には国会の承認を得たまったく新しい漁業協定のことで、国連海洋法条約と海岸国主義に基づいて調印されました。旧日中漁業協定は日韓漁業と同じで、１２海里では旗国主義であるため日本の規制は日韓では適用できませんでしたが、新日中漁業協定が調印されたことにより、協定が合意されました。

New Fisheries Agreement of Japan and People's Republic of China was the totally new fishery agreement that it was signed in November, 1997, and got approval of the Diet on 30th in April, 1998, and it was based on United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea and shore king justice, and it was signed. Old Fisheries Agreement of Japan and People's Republic of China was the same as Japan-Korea fishery and was not able to apply the Japanese regulation in Japan and Korea because it was flag state doctrine at 12 n.m., but, by what was signed Fisheries Agreement of Japan and People's Republic of China newly, an agreement was agreed.
