輪作
 輪作とは、まったく違う性質の作物を組み合わせて同じ農地で交互に栽培する方法のことです。輪作は土壌の物理性や窒素養分の増大、養分を吸収する範囲の拡大、雑草の制御、病害虫発生防止などの効果があります。昔はよく輪作が使われていましたが、すこし時代が進むと、化学肥料や農薬などが導入されたり、機械化が進んだこともあり見られなくなってきました。しかし、現代では化学肥料や農薬を使うことによって土壌の侵食や塩化、固化など、の問題が発生したために輪作がまた見直されてきました。
