米の関税化
 米の関税化（Rice Tariffication)とは、米に対して一般の貿易品と同様に関税をかけることによって輸入を認めることです。米の関税化は１９９９年の４月から導入されました。また、特例措置というものがあり、輸入量が内消費量３％未満の場合、輸出補助金が付いていない生産調整を実施していることを条件を満たす農産物（ミニマム アクセス）一定比率の引き上げを条件に１９９５年から６年間関税化する措置のことです。日本では１９９３年にウルグアイ ラウンド農業合意によって米の関税化を特例措置されました。
