エコビジネス
 エコビジネスとは、１９９４年に発行された環境白書という本で登場した言葉で、環境産業を目指す用語です。地球の温暖化や大気汚染、オゾン層の破壊、湖の破壊、砂漠化問題、酸性雨による森林破壊、ゴミの大量廃棄、などの問題があり、新たな市場を生み出しました。環境保護や環境重視の需要に対し公害防止や廃棄物の処理、再生可能エネルギーなど技術の企業活動がエコビジネスで環境ビジネスといわれることもあります。１９９７年の段階で市場は２４兆７０００億円にもなりました。
