産学協同
 産学協同とは、大学の研究機関と産業界とが共同で情報交換活動や技術開発をすることです。世界の最先端ハイテク技術の領域にある半導体産業関連では技術研究組合として超先端電子技術開発機構（ＡＳＥＴ）が１９９６年に発足されて、次世代の半導体、製造技術、共同研究プロジェクトが始動しました。しかし産学協会の技術開発の成功例はありますが、共通言語での交流が不足するなどの障害があり、失敗するケースが目立つようです。
