航空機産業
 航空機産業とは、ヘリコプターなどの回転尾翼、飛行機などの固定した翼を設計し、開発して生産し販売、その後の部品補給などに関する産業のことです。また、尾翼などに関係することから航空宇宙産業として取り扱われることもあります。日本でも１９７０年から１９９８年にかけて、過去２９年間だけで約１０３兆円と基幹産業の自動車産業を３倍も上回りました。日本の航空機産業の規模は生産や修理などの実績により、２０００年には１兆４１２億円を記録し防衛需要比率が２年連続して増加しました。
