ニューガラス産業
 ニューガラス産業とは、高機能ガラスのことでファインガラスと呼ばれている新素材のガラスのことです。製造工程や組成によりアモルファスという柄氏の非晶性質が発見され、アモルファスの平坦性や溶媒製、透光性などの特性を向上させて結晶化ガラスなどの新しいガラスも開発しています。今までのガラスはソーダ灰やケイ砂を使って大気中で融合して作られますが、ニューガラスは金属アルコレート、四塩化ケイ素、カルコゲン化物など人口合成原料を使って作られます。
