ネットストーカー
 ネットストーカーとは、メールや掲示板で中傷する文章を書き込んだり、異性に対して一方的に思いを寄せる相手にしつこくメールを送り続ける行為のことをネットストーカーといいます。ネットストーカー対策のため、２０００年の１１月２３日に「ストーカー規正法が施行されました。有名な事件としては、２ｃｈ（にちゃんねる）の掲示板に中傷的な文章を書き込んで罰せられた例があります。余談ですが、にちゃんねるの掲示板に脅迫文を書いて罰せられた、ということも過去に起きたことがあります。
