ブロードバンド インターネット
 ブロードバンド インターネット（Broadband Internet)とは、インターネットの伝送容量を増やす伝送路の幅が太いバンドのことをブロードバンドといいます。現代、音楽や動画などのストーリームメディアなどインターネットで使われるデーター量が増えてきたので、需要が急激に伸びてきました。これに対し従来の伝送路のことを（narrowband)ナローバンドと呼んでいました。最近ではＡＤＳＬのサービスや、ＣＡＴＶインターネットの誕生により、Ｍｂpsクラスの接続が可能となりました。また、光ファイバーというものもあり、１００Mbpsの接続も可能になりました。
