狂牛病
 狂牛病とは肉骨粉から感染する病気で人にも感染する病気です。感染すると１０年後に発病し脳に空胞ができて死んでしまうという恐ろしい病気です。狂牛病対策でＥＵは消費者保護総局を立ち上げ消費や流通を一元化しました。クロイツフェルト・ヤコブ病（縮めてヤコブ病といったりＣＪＤともいいます。）最近分かったことは狂牛病にかかった牛の脊髄や脳を食べるとクロイツフェルト・ヤコブ病にかかる確率が高いとの事です。
